The Promise turned out to be quite a comedy, admist all de action and fantasy. haha. Nic Tse was quite comical and somewhat 'sissy'. in comparison, jang dong gun is indeed more manly. but still, i think he looks ugly most of de time. only at certain parts, he looks good. oops! li er, although nic tse is sissy in de show, he's still more SHUAI~ Lol... =P

overall, de show is worth my money to watch. definitely not solely due to de appearance of Nicholas Tse k... de plot iself is quite entertaining, with a good touch of humour. i was amused by de actors' dialog many a time. 3 out of 5 stars is how i would rate dis show.

i strongly recommend y'all to watch it if you are in de mood for a good laugh. don't hold too high expectations, cuz de plot is not very outstanding except for de vivid display of colurs and interesting characters to enhance it. see, i'm honest enuf already ah, to give such comments even though my idol is in it. haha.
